Been a month and a day or so...

This was the last pressing of the season.  It was a singular variety, Suncrisp.  It is one of the last apples we pick.  This being our first season pressing cider, everything was an experiment.  Overall, it was almost unanimous that the multiple apple blends were more satisfying than the single varietal pressings.  Except for the season opener of Honeygold.  If  you are into sweet, that is the apple for your cider.  Suncrisp will come in second.  A bit more bite, but not as much as the mid season blends.

Thanks again to all that supported this year's harvest.  See you in the spring with the always anticipated maple syrup frenzy.
